Design Engineer/Project Manager Job Scope:
This position is a member of our R & D team that supervises all design aspects of our product line to ensure functionality, innovation and quality. The right person will be able to demonstrate a high level of design ability, mechanical aptitude and creativity. These skills, matched with a sound knowledge of engineering principles, fit and finish plus a commitment to quality makes you a prime candidate for this position. Superior leadership skills, accountability and a results-oriented work ethic are a must. A Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or a Mechanical Engineering related field or at least five years of related professional experience is required. We use Solidworks and proficiency in this software would be a definite plus. The ideal candidate will have experience with aluminum extrusions, castings, sheet metal and machining. You will be supervising a team of experienced, innovative people with a wide range of skills and methodology. Your job is to continue the forward motion of this group in a cohesive and documented manner.
