Where It All Started
ICW International, Inc., is a majority women-owned company. It was founded in 1992 by Jim and Delphine Hunter and another family, in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. In 1994, the company began casting the Universal Arm in Eugene, Oregon, and in May 1998, ICWUSA.com, Inc. established a small manufacturing facility in Central Point, Oregon. Because of rapid growth, in 2002 ICW expanded into its current facilities in Medford, Oregon.
Today, we operate as a fully integrated manufacturing facility, proudly producing all our products within the USA. This seamless integration enables superior coordination and efficiency, minimizing the likelihood of supply chain delays or disruptions. As a result, our customers can anticipate more reliable and timely deliveries. Moreover, our comprehensive integration empowers us to provide tailored customization options to meet the unique needs of each customer. Embracing collaboration with a fully integrated manufacturing company yields a more efficient, dependable, and customer-centric experience.
In March 2022, ICW was purchased and is now part of the TouchPoint Medical family. TouchPoint Medical is the strategic partner of global medical technology for healthcare providers seeking ways to improve patient access, care and outcomes. The acquisition of ICW now allows us to offer full-room solutions in virtually any clinical setting.
